BNP Paribas Securities Services is a wholly-owned banking subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group and provides securities services and investment operations support to issuers, financial intermediaries and institutional investors. An integral part of the Asset Management and Services division, the bank processed 45.4 million transactions in 2007 and handled over 3.8 trillion in assets under custody as at 31 December 2007.
Services are organised around four main product lines:
Clearing, Settlement and Custody: securities and derivatives clearing, local and global custody, middle and back office outsourcing for broker-dealers.
Global Fund Services: fund administration, transfer agency, performance measurement, fund compliance and trustee services, retail account administration, middle and back office outsourcing for institutional investors.
Global Corporate Trust: shareholder services, AGM management, employee share and stock option plans, corporate trust, securitisation and advisory.
Global Liquidity Services: securities lending, financing, foreign exchange, collateral management.
